Cheating.
Why is it wrong to cheat or to steal? Google defines cheating as "an act of lying, deception, fraud, trickery, imposture, or imposition. Cheating characteristically is employed to create an unfair advantage, usually in one's own interest..." This definition can be applied to cheating and stealing in the form of plagiarism. Plagiarism is basically cheating and stealing somebody's work and taking credit for it. Just like stealing from a friend, the government, or your parents is frowned upon plagiarism is frowned on as well. It makes you look dishonest but it also makes you look like you aren't able to do your school work yourself and it makes you look lazy. As well as making you look bad, it also has heavy consequences. These consequences are not only from the teacher but also the University and sometimes even the government. This kind of dishonesty also makes people and your professor lose trust in you which means they will constantly be double checking your work. These are all reason's why I will not cheat or steal somebody's work. I've always been taught that honesty is the best policy. It's not fair when you cheat. It's not fair to the person whose work you stole, to your teacher, and its not fair to you. When you plagiarize you aren't helping yourself, you're only hurting yourself. If you get caught you have to deal with the consequences and will most likely make a terrible grade in the class, or if you don't get caught you will not learn the material which your studying to help prepare you for your future career. So basically plagiarizing doesn't really help in the long run and has high risks and these are the reasons why I don't want to cheat and plagiarize.

Coca-Cola advertising
This Coca-Cola advertisement is a good example of how companies use pathos and logos. Coca-cola is using pathos in this advertisement to spark a sense of American pride by putting pictures of symbols in the American culture on the Coke bottle. This makes people feel that its more American to drink Coke because its a classic American drink. Also, the celebrities make it seem more popular. Coca-cola also uses logos with the statement "A classic never goes out of style" because the statement is trying to convince us that coke is not only a stylish drink, but also that it is classic and will always be the best drink. This advertisement is basically convincing us that Coke is part of our culture and always will be and that as American's we should drink it.
